Staff said the action places the district in line to be considered for state funds and presented a high‑level master plan developed from prior community meetings.
"Approval is recommended that the Board of Education adopt and approve resolution 9 24 25 authorizing the filing of applications for the State Allocation Board," staff stated when presenting the item. Staff clarified that the master plan in the packet is a draft and will be refined as the district defines scopes of work for projects submitted to SAB.
The motion to approve the resolution was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote. The approval starts the application process; further detail and refined project scopes will be presented to the board as staff develops the state application materials.
