As one participant put it, 'The tenant team would like to offer 35,000 for the frame' and another said 'offer him 30' as a pragmatic negotiation starting point. Members also discussed grant paperwork and confirmed a town account hold of $20,000 with the rest expected from a community foundation.
Several residents raised process and inclusion concerns about how the project had been managed; one speaker said the 'town of Tinmouth has been removed from this entire process' and urged greater transparency. Board members agreed to formalize roles, ensure proof of insurance for volunteers/operators per VLCT guidance, and proceed with a signed letter to Marshfield initiating negotiation.
