Jenkinsburg council adopts email policy, reviews FY 2026 budgets and appoints special events panel

The City of Jenkinsburg council convened Nov. 10, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Eddie Ford called the meeting to order with a quorum present. Council members voted unanimously to adopt the meeting agenda and to approve the Sept. 22, 2025 minutes.
During the session council approved two routine financial items and several administrative measures. Jason Watts moved to accept the September and October 2025 financial reports; Brent Eberspacher seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The council also voted to adopt JBGR 25-02, establishing official city email addresses and implementing an email policy into the employee handbook. Council accepted presentation of the proposed FY 2026 budgets for review (a submittal, not final adoption) and appointed a Special Event Committee of five residents. The meeting concluded at 7:53 p.m.
