Sheriff's office secures $12,000 ICAC task force funding for FY2027

Chief Deputy Butcher presented a memorandum of understanding between Davis County and the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force for FY2027 task-force funding. He said the item is a receivable of $12,000 beginning 07/01/2026 and running through 06/30/2027. "For your consideration, item number 13 is approval of a memorandum of understanding between Davis County and Utah Internet Crimes Against Children or ICAC task force for task force funding for the fiscal year 2027," he said.
Commissioners moved and seconded to approve the MOU and recorded unanimous aye votes. The funding is recorded as a receivable for FY2027 and will support the county's participation in the ICAC task force.
