Davis County accepts $10,000 donation for Meals on Wheels and $2.25M aging services pass-through

The Health Department presented two items that the board approved unanimously: a $10,000 donation agreement with Meals on Wheels of America to support home-delivered meals, and an amendment with the Utah Area Agency on Aging that provides $2,249,000 in funding to Davis County Aging Services for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. "This is payable in the amount of $10,000 beginning 07/21/2026 ending 07/21/2026," Brian Hatch said when describing the Meals on Wheels donation.
Hatch also described the pass-through agreement with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services and the Area Agency on Aging. Commissioners moved and seconded approval for both items and recorded unanimous aye votes. The funds are designated to support home-delivered meals and Davis County aging services for the stated fiscal year.
