Resident urges OLCC review and targeted enforcement after 50 dispatches to downtown bar

Casey Light, a Tualatin resident, presented what he said were official dispatch logs showing roughly 50 police and emergency responses to a single address associated with the Tualatin Station Bar and Grill over an 11‑month period.
"When a single commercial business generates 50 police dispatches in under a year culminating in late night violence, the burden of safety shouldn't fall on sleep‑deprived neighbors," Light told the council. He said more than 65% of calls occurred between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. and listed entries he said were documented in city logs, including assaults (Aug. 10 and Nov. 27), a DUI arrest (Jan. 4), a reported overdose (May 2) and other disturbances.
Light asked the council to take three immediate steps: targeted enforcement and increased police/code presence during peak late‑night hours, an Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) nuisance review of the business's liquor license and operations, and formal interagency coordination requiring venue management and property managers to establish enforceable noise and security protocols. He submitted the dispatch logs to the city recorder and urged prompt action to protect neighboring residents.
Council did not take immediate formal action during the meeting; staff and councilors acknowledged receipt of the materials and did not dispute the submitted logs during public comment.
