Two new trustees sworn in to Hermosa Beach City School District board

Superintendent Susan Wilds introduced the new trustees, saying the district was “absolutely over the moon” to welcome their perspectives. After the oath, both new members joined the board on the dais and received folders and reading material from staff.
At the board member roundtable, Rachel VanLandingham said she was “incredibly honored and humbled to be sitting with such amazing professionals,” and Carol Reed Kluth thanked voters and pledged to learn the role quickly. The board set a reorganization meeting for the following week to assign committee roles and finalize officers.
