The council approved the Public Improvement District board’s recommendation to appoint Brian Lindsay to the PID board after Paul Cassidy announced he is stepping down. A PID representative told the council the board unanimously recommended Lindsay, who has served as an ex officio member for the last year and brings financial experience relevant to the board’s work addressing existing financial issues.
A motion to appoint Brian Lindsay was made, seconded, and approved by roll call. Council also noted the board will need to identify a new ex officio if Lindsay is seated.
