The Rogue River City Council voted unanimously Sept. 25 to continue the public hearing on CUP 25‑01, an application to expand an existing manufactured‑home park at 515 E. Main Street, to the Oct. 23, 2025 council meeting at 6:00 p.m. Councilor Barb Hilty moved to continue the hearing and Councilor Grace Howell seconded; the motion carried with all members voting yes.
City Administrator Ryan Nolan read an email from the applicant asking for more time and told the council that the city is operating under a 120‑day review deadline that would place a decision date around Nov. 21, 2025 “he believes”; Nolan said the applicant could ask to extend and thereby stop the clock. Rogue River Press reporter Brian Mortenson asked about the deadline during the meeting; Nolan provided the 120‑day date as the city's current estimate.
The council limited discussion to the continuance itself rather than the merits of the CUP application during the Sept. 25 action. The continued hearing is scheduled for the Oct. 23 council meeting; any further procedural changes or formal votes on the CUP will be recorded at that meeting.
