The Village of Angel Fire approved a service addendum with Sustainability Partners to manufacture and install 17 new workforce housing units. Staff said the units are part of a continuing relationship with Sustainability Partners, explained the financing approach is structured as a service (not a loan) to avoid impacting the village balance sheet, and described the units as higher-quality modular homes with improved R-values and load-bearing characteristics.
Production and site-work timelines were discussed: staff said seven units already purchased are expected to be occupiable by Oct. 1 and the 17 units from this addendum are targeted to be occupiable by Nov. 1. The council moved, seconded and approved the addendum and notice to proceed.
