The Lewis County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 26-244, renewing the franchise for Middle Fork Water System to install, operate, and maintain water and sewer facilities within county rights-of-way. "This hearing approves the renewal of Middle Fork Water System, the franchise they have to install, operate, and maintain water and sewer facilities within our road rights of way," Kimberly Edminster of Public Works told the board.
Edminster said required public notices and hearing requirements had been completed and that approval would authorize the board to sign the franchise agreement. The question-and-answer period produced no public questions; the board approved the franchise by voice vote, 3-0.
