County extends Mead Hill Road closure for slide repairs through Aug. 14

The Lewis County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve Resolution 26-238, extending the temporary closure of Mead Hill Road to all through traffic until August 14 to allow slide-repair work to proceed. "This is, notice to extend the temporary closure of Mead Hill Road to all through traffic, until August 14 for the construction of our slide repair up there," said Jeff Soderquist, public works director.
Soderquist told the board the closure is required for the construction work on the slide repair; the board moved and approved the notice items 26-238 and 26-239 together and the motion carried 3-0. No public testimony on the closure was recorded during the meeting.
