Sedlemyre Park to get major upgrades with $2 million state grant, mayor says

He said upgrades include new sports courts, an upgraded restroom, enhanced landscaping, improved pathways, a new picnic shelter and a fully inclusive playground designed to serve children with varied abilities. “Thanks to recent state funding and strong local support, we're moving forward with major improvements, including new sports courts, an upgraded restroom, enhanced landscaping, improved pathways, a new picnic shelter, and a fully inclusive playground,” the mayor said.
City officials described the investment as part of broader efforts to revitalize longstanding public spaces and increase recreational access for families across Woodburn.
