Facilities maintenance coordinator Nick Knauss described a project to replace the existing flat roof on the Heritage Park splash-pad building with a gable roof and steel roofing to reduce ice-dam risk and future leaks. He recommended awarding the contract to Dan Hershberger as the lowest responsive bidder.
Council members asked about scope items (soffits, fascia and drainage) and Knauss confirmed the winning bid includes those elements. The council approved the bid award (resolution 26-77) and thanked staff for the presentation.
