Incoming state legislator Chris Pritchard meets Tinmouth board, cites property taxes and education as priorities

Chris Pritchard addressed the board and residents to introduce himself as he prepares for the upcoming legislative session. He said he has been visiting towns in the district to hear constituent concerns and will try to stay accessible once in Montpelier. "I'm trying to make myself as accessible as I can, to folks," Pritchard said (Chris Pritchard, Speaker 13).
Pritchard identified property taxes and education funding as top priorities and said he was attending orientation and committee meetings to educate himself before the session. He encouraged residents to reach out and noted he had applied for service on ag, forestry, and fish-and-wildlife committees, and that he expects early work on fiscal issues at the state level.
