Yachats Council adopts Ordinance 380 tightening vacation-rental licensing

Nicole Hedwin, Yachats City Council president, said the council approved the final draft of Ordinance 380 to amend Chapter 4.08 of the municipal code concerning vacation rentals. "We approved the final draft for Ordinance 3 80 that amends our code chapter 4.08 concerning vacation rentals," Hedwin said.
Hedwin said the update includes "language around who could be the license holder and that these licenses are non transferable." She said the revision followed about six months of community input. The council president directed residents to the city website for the full agenda and minutes for additional details on the ordinance text and the adoption process.
