Commissioners approve EMS subrecipient agreement under HB 3000 for rural ambulance service

Ricky Brown presented the item and confirmed staff had incorporated the statutory language requested by the commissioners. "We made the revisions requested by commissioner Samuelson from our last court… and this should be good to go now," Brown said.
Commissioner Samuels moved to enter the subrecipient agreement and Commissioner Andrews seconded. The court voted unanimously to approve the agreement (motion carries 4–0). The order authorizes the county to accept the grant subject to the minimum subagreement requirements outlined in HB 3000.
The action authorizes the county judge to execute the agreement and directs staff to finalize subagreements and reporting as required under the grant’s terms.
