General Manager Ryan Gross informed the Executive Committee that the District has a Feb. 18 meeting with the Division of Drinking Water to finalize details for a PFAS treatment project. The minutes record that the District is seeking funding for construction through the State Water Resources Control Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) construction grant program.
No contractual terms or grant award amounts were stated in the minutes; staff noted only that the DDW meeting was scheduled and that the DWSRF construction grant was the funding pathway under consideration. The Committee did not take a funding decision at the Feb. 17 meeting; any grant application or award would be documented in subsequent Board materials.
