Tryco Engineering submitted the lowest responsive bid; staff said they have used this contractor in prior years with satisfactory results.
Albarran and staff noted the work also qualifies as an inflow-and-infiltration reduction effort under the Consent Decree Order (CDO). The fiscal impact is $329,640 plus additional costs for manhole frames and covers; funding will come from Wastewater Capital Improvement Fund 210. The Board approved the contract and authorized change orders not to exceed 15% of the contract amount.
