The Board approved awarding the Blue Jay Groundwater Well Treatment Project (Project No. 187) to Pyramid Building and Engineering after receiving six bids; the lowest responsive bid was $1,547,000. "The lowest responsive bid submitted by Pyramid Building and Engineering in the amount of $1,547,000," Mr. Albarran reported during the meeting.
The total project authorization including a 15% contingency is approximately $1,779,050 and the work will be funded from the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Supplemental Water Projects Fund 160. The Board authorized the General Manager to approve change orders up to 15% if needed and approved the award unanimously.
