He also outlined applications only (no award yet) for a $700,000 utility-account grant for airport sewer work and a potential $688,500 ARC grant for the Lower Cedar Valley project (the Bolek property), and said the county would accept a $200,000 drug-court grant spread over two years if awarded.
Other consent items included surplusing four county vehicles that had reached end-of-life, the annual state library agreement listed as "2627," and several board and ETJ appointments, such as a dentist appointment to the Board of Health and a replacement on the DSS advisory board. Fox said the Duke Energy grant "does not require any local money or match," and commissioners voted to adopt the consent agenda as presented.
