The Lake Arrowhead Community Services District Board of Directors voted unanimously on Feb. 24 to appoint Eric Chappell to fill the Division #5 vacancy left by the resignation of Director Bruce Reynolds. Vice President John Wurm moved and Director Jacqueline Brown seconded the appointment; the roll-call vote recorded AYES from Directors Ambrozic, Boydston, Brown, and Wurm.
Chappell addressed the Board during the meeting and answered questions from directors before the vote. The Board noted that the Oath of Office would be administered after the meeting, after which Chappell will be eligible to participate fully in Board deliberations. The Board then also voted unanimously to designate newly appointed Director Eric Chappell as the alternate member to the Arrowhead Lake Association and LACSD Interface Committee; Vice President Wurm moved and Director Michelle Ambrozic seconded that motion.
The appointment and the committee designation were both recorded as unanimous actions in the meeting minutes; no public opposing statements or votes were recorded. The Board’s decisions take immediate effect upon the completion of the Oath of Office.
