Caledonia to solicit quotes for water tower cleaning while awaiting federal rehab funding

Staff reported receiving an unsolicited cleaning quote around $15,000 per tower but did not recommend accepting the quote without soliciting multiple bids.
The council directed staff to solicit formal quotes; no contract or expenditure was approved at the meeting. Staff will return to council with formal bids and recommendations once received.
