Public Works/Zoning Director Casey Klug presented a street-lighting proposal from Electric Department Supervisor Matt Blocker for the Warrior Avenue project. The plan calls for five new poles on the N Warrior Ave extension at a cost of $50,018.24 and replacement of seven existing poles on N Warrior Ave for $44,470.05, for a total estimated project cost of $94,488.29. Klug recommended full replacement because some poles are old and show damage.
Member Bob Klug moved to approve the replacement and installation; Member John Rauk seconded. The council voted unanimously to proceed. Staff and the electric supervisor will move forward with procurement and installation under the approved estimate.
