West Linn council reviews 30-month priorities and schedules adoption

The city manager said the document is intended to guide staff, council and community advisory groups over the current biennium. Councilors suggested edits including adding the Sustainability Advisory Board to waterfront and Vision 43 work and including jurisdictional-transfer language regarding Highway 43 discussions with ODOT.
Councilor Garner and others praised the structure of the document (strategy, council role, advisory-group tasks) and asked staff to circulate proposed edits in writing so the council could adopt the priorities at the next business meeting after collating changes. The council penciled adoption for the next business meeting and asked staff to prepare an updated draft incorporating today’s suggestions.
Next steps: staff will compile edits submitted by councilors, update the priorities document, and schedule the item for adoption on the next business meeting agenda.
