Riverside supervisor lauds Menifee growth, cites other pedestrian bridge projects

Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington told the Menifee ribbon-cutting audience that the region has changed dramatically since he moved to Murrieta in 1989 and praised local leaders for delivering amenities residents want. He said the bridge is an important pedestrian and cyclist amenity and described similar county projects in French Valley to improve school and library access.
"This is a great amenity for pedestrians, for cyclists," Supervisor Chuck Washington said, and he presented a framed certificate to celebrate the opening before joining the ceremonial photo on site.
