Mayor Ricky Estrada thanked city staff and residents and framed the Paloma Wash Pedestrian Bridge as a milestone in Menifee’s effort to knit civic spaces and commercial areas together. He described the bridge as linking Central Park, a potential future city hall site, grocery stores and nearby marketplaces and congratulated residents on the new amenity.
"This bridge is gonna bring us even more together," Mayor Ricky Estrada said, noting the project had been several years in the making. He closed by inviting attendees to enjoy the bridge and thanking staff for the work that led to the opening.
