Organizers at the Chelsea event said the next phase of relief will target children who lost limbs in the earthquakes. A representative of the Asociación de Venezolanos de Massachusetts said there are "aproximadamente 75 niños, entre 2 y 15 años de edad, que perdieron sus extremidades" and described plans to help them regain mobility and dignity through prosthetics and other assistance.
Speakers asked donors to fund this specialized project through established channels. Ciro Valiente and other organizers emphasized that medical and mobility support is a sustained, resource-intensive effort and requested continued financial contributions and coordination with partner organizations.
