Conservation committee posts signs at Hebo Hybo after spotting new damage, plans outreach

At the May 28 Select Board meeting, liaison Dan Norwood reported members of the Conservation Committee had posted approved town-property signs at Hebo Hybo and observed additional damage to the property.
Norwood said the committee would notify the Warden about the new damage and explore additional signs to raise awareness and deter inappropriate use of the riverhead area. He also said the committee will develop verbiage for the town website and provide it to Krampetz for posting.
Board members discussed enforcement and the possibility of further signage; no formal motion or vote occurred. The committee will continue to assess the site and report back as needed.
