Town Administrator Jennifer Roux told the board Iron Tails had submitted the fee and insurance. Roux relayed that Mr. Martinez (the organizer) hired three law-enforcement officers for on-site presence and planned to shuttle attendees from an off-site parking area at the corner of Route 109 and Goose Pond Road to reduce traffic impacts. Norwood moved to approve the permit; Walsh seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Board members commended the organizer for proactive safety planning. The permit was approved with the expectation that safety, traffic mitigation and insurance arrangements remain in place for the event.
