At its Nov. 1 meeting the Select Board appointed Gary Broniarcyzk to the position of Election Clerk effective immediately and read a roster of wardens and ballot clerks for the upcoming election. Tom McGurty moved to appoint Broniarcyzk; Edward Walsh seconded and the motion carried.
Town Administrator Jennifer Roux reminded residents that absentee ballots are available in the Town Office until Nov. 2; after that date, ballots remain available only under special circumstances defined by the Secretary of State’s Office. Roux read the names of wardens and the ballot clerks who will staff the election day. She asked that residents delay window transactions when possible until after Election Day, saying, "Roux appreciates if window transactions can wait until after Election Day." Ray Lopez asked about the availability of ballot-question materials and Roux confirmed links are posted on the town website.
