The Starksboro Selectboard approved several routine administrative items at its May 5 meeting. Tony Porter moved to approve the Appropriations Policy with Carin McCarthy seconding; the motion was recorded as approved. The board also approved accounts payable and payroll warrants after a motion from Tony Porter and second from David Schmidt. Carin McCarthy moved to approve the April 21 minutes with the updated dog complaint hearing date and revised wording about the MAUSD study; Tony Porter seconded and the minutes were approved.
Late in the meeting the board voted to enter executive session under 1 V.S.A. § 313(a)(1) and (3) to discuss personnel matters with Town Administrator Amanda Vincent present. The board exited executive session with no action taken and then unanimously adjourned the meeting. The minutes list future agenda items including Gravel Pit Crushing and Use of Town Spaces and note that the town administrator requested adding Landfill Monitoring and an Election Security Grant to a future agenda.
