District updates solar farm, Two‑Mile well review, Rimforest coordination and invasive mussel outreach

General Manager Ryan Gross provided a multi-faceted projects update at the March 24 Board meeting. He said panels for the Solar Farm Project are on site and the system could be operational by fall, depending on Southern California Edison’s schedule. The Two‑Mile Groundwater Well Project is scheduled to complete environmental review on March 30, 2026 and will be presented to the Board in April. Coordination on the Rimforest Water System Improvement Project continues following a March 9 meeting.
Mr. Gross also reported outreach activities regarding Golden Mussels, including distributing flyers and coordinating with the Arrowhead Lake Association to raise public awareness. No public comments or objections were recorded at the meeting on these items.
