PFAS removal project awaiting state funding agreement; bidding expected this summer

At the March 24 meeting, General Manager Ryan Gross updated the Board on the PFAS Removal Treatment Project, reporting the District is awaiting a draft funding agreement from the Division of Drinking Water (DDW) and the State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance (DFA). He said staff expects the draft agreement in the coming months and that bidding for the project is anticipated in June or July after the funding agreement is executed.
Mr. Gross placed the PFAS project on the near-term calendar but did not present a draft agreement or take any action at the meeting. No public comment was received on the project during this session.
