Lake Arrowhead CSD receives 100% PFAS treatment design; permitting and sampling underway

The Lake Arrowhead Community Services District reported progress on PFAS treatment planning at the Jan. 27 meeting. Operations Manager Matt Brooks said the District "received 100% design plans for PFAS Treatment in December," staff returned comments and a coordination meeting with N2W Engineering and state water representatives was held on Jan. 20, 2026 to advance permitting.
Brooks said required compliance water samples have been collected and that results are pending; the district expects PFAS reporting to move to a quarterly schedule and to provide updates sooner if needed. No specific analytical results were provided at the meeting and staff said results will be posted on the District website when available.
