Council approves minutes and accounts payable; enters and exits executive session

At its Oct. 22 meeting the Town of Nutter Fort Council approved the meeting minutes from Oct. 8, 2024 and approved the accounts payable items presented to the body; both motions passed by unanimous vote. Councilor Charlene Louk moved to accept the minutes with Councilor Karen Phillips seconding; Charlene Louk also moved to approve accounts payable with a second by Karen Phillips.
The council also approved a motion to enter an executive session to discuss legal matters at 6:54 p.m.; Councilor Charlene Louk made the motion and Councilor Karen Phillips seconded. The council ended the executive session at 7:27 p.m. after a motion by Councilor Charlene Louk and a second by Recorder Natalie Haddix. No formal votes or actions resulting from the executive session were recorded in the minutes.
