Nutter Fort council sets Oct. 31 trick-or-treat hours and approves routine minutes and payments

The Town of Nutter Fort council agreed to hold Trick-or-Treat on Oct. 31, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., aligning with neighboring municipalities. The council noted that because of a Halloween event Oct. 26 on Pennsylvania Avenue and the extended trick-or-treat hours, there will be no Fire Department Halloween party.
Routine business included unanimous approval of the Sept. 24, 2024 meeting minutes after a motion by Councilor Charlene Louk and a second by Councilor Bryan Gonzalez, and unanimous approval of the accounts payable items after a motion by Councilor Karen Phillips and a second by Councilor Rick Lafferty. The minutes list accounts payable as presented via handout; specific line items and dollar amounts were included in the attachment to the minutes but not read into the record at the meeting.
