EMS supervisor: 1999 ambulance damaged in deer strike; owner’s insurance covered incident

The EMS supervisor told the Nutter Fort Town Council by phone that a deer strike damaged a 1999-model ambulance that had been on loan to NFEMS. Dash-cam footage indicated the driver was not at fault, and the EMS supervisor said the owner’s insurance covered the incident.
The EMS supervisor also said they will provide additional data upon request and will keep Mayor Sam Maxson updated on any follow-up. No vote or formal action was taken on the report; it was recorded as part of committee/department reports in the meeting minutes.
