Cummings also reported that a cybersecurity risk assessment of water, sewer and billing operations was completed Oct. 8 by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Cummings told the council she had received notice of projected PEIA increases for the next fiscal year, estimating about a 14% increase in premiums and stating that deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums could increase by at least 100% for employees. She said a supervisors' meeting will be scheduled to develop options to present to the council. The minutes do not record a council vote on the donation plan or on benefit policy changes; those items were presented as reports and items for future action.
