Nutter Fort council approves prior minutes, pays bills and cancels two holiday meetings

The Town of Nutter Fort Council approved the minutes for its Oct. 22, 2024 council meeting and its Oct. 29, 2024 special meeting. Councilor Charlene Louk moved to accept the minutes and Councilor Karen Phillips seconded; the motion carried by unanimous vote.
Council also approved accounts payable items presented by handout after a motion by Councilor Charlene Louk and a second from Councilor Karen Phillips. No dissenting votes were recorded in the minutes; the actions are described as passed by unanimous vote. Later in the meeting the council considered calendar conflicts and voted to cancel the Nov. 26 and Dec. 24, 2024 meetings. Councilor Louk moved to cancel both dates and Councilor Rick Lafferty seconded; that motion likewise carried unanimously.
The minutes do not record roll-call tallies for each council seat; they report each action as "approved by unanimous vote." The recorder signed the official minutes and the meeting was noted as called to order by Mayor Sam Maxson at 6:30 p.m.
