Topeka invites community to citywide National Night Out on Aug. 8

Monique Laude, director of the Office of Inclusive Communities, invited residents to the city’s annual National Night Out celebration on Saturday, Aug. 8 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Stormontville campus at Agricultural and Heritage Halls (1 Expo Center Drive). "We invite you to join us on Saturday, August 8 from noon to 4PM at the Stormontville campus," she said.
Laude described family‑friendly activities including a community resource fair, a marketplace for local vendors, a talent show, touch‑a‑truck activities, fingerprint identification kits for children and safety presentations by the Topeka Police Department. City officials encouraged neighbors to attend to build connections between residents and public safety organizations.
