"We will be presenting our 1st 5 year financial forecast," he said, calling the process exciting and noting the city expects difficult tradeoffs.
The mayor added that the city will not increase the mill levy this year and reminded residents that the city portion accounts for about 25% of a property tax bill, noting valuation changes are handled by state law and county assessors. He urged public participation over the next seven weeks and said budget decisions are due before October.
