Select Board approves minutes and treasurer's report; multiple procedural motions carried

The Sutton Select Board recorded several formal procedural actions during its Sept. 26 meeting. Tim Simpson moved and Joe Solinsky seconded approval of the Aug. 29, 2024 Select Board meeting minutes; the motion carried. Tim Simpson also moved and Joe Solinsky seconded approval of the Sept. 16, 2024 special meeting minutes (opening bids for Fiddlehead Lane bridge); that motion carried. Joe Solinsky moved and Tim Simpson seconded approval of the Sept. 17, 2024 special meeting to rescind the letter to J.P. Sicard, Inc. regarding the Fiddlehead Lane bridge; that motion carried. Denis Royer moved and Tim Simpson seconded approval of the Sept. 26, 2024 Treasurer's Report; that motion carried. The delinquent tax collector report was handed out with no discussion.
Separately, Tim Simpson moved to reimburse Clint Gray $750 per tree (two trees, $1,500 total) for removing trees from the right-of-way; there was no second and the motion failed. Denis Royer moved to adjourn at 8:13 PM; Tim Simpson seconded and the motion carried. The clerk, Mary Gray, submitted the minutes.
