CDD adopts FY2026 proposed O&M budget; public hearing set for July 15

The Heritage Pines Community Development District board on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed Operation and Maintenance budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Chair Kathleen Lonergan presented the resolution and District Manager Chuck Adams reviewed the budget differences with the board.
"The net effect is a reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations compared to Fiscal Year 2025," Adams said, and he told the board the Operation & Maintenance assessment is projected to decrease by "$2.88 per unit, year-over-year." On motion by Arthur Rhodes and seconded by Carol Vaughan, with all in favor, the board adopted the resolution.
Adams explained the proposed FY2026 budget is similar overall to FY2025, with increases and decreases across line items that produced a modest net reduction. The board directed staff to post required transmittals and to publish the notice for the July public hearing per Florida law. The hearing will be held in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room at 11524 Scenic Hills Boulevard in Hudson.
