City Manager Gallegos used his remarks to summarize recent community engagement and business openings. He told the council that city staff hosted Girl Scouts at City Hall for a behind‑the‑scenes tour and congratulated Solara Kitchen and Wine Bar on its June 29 grand opening at 210 Main Street, noting the business has already welcomed more than 1,200 guests.
Gallegos also recapped a pop‑up City Hall at a multicultural event, a meeting with the Naval Weapons Station, and a public‑works meeting with CPW residents on the Haines pipeline. Councilmembers added event notes — including Lions Club activities, Leisure World multicultural events and Seal Beach TV upgrades — and thanked volunteers and staff for outreach work.
