"Is basically gonna be outlining the bidding process and the construction phase of this project, which will come to a grand total of a $110,200," the presenter said, and staff noted that while $110,200 is the contract amount for the contracting services, the actual rehab cost will be higher. Council members asked whether the amount is a maximum or fixed cost and whether a logo and improved lighting would be part of the project; staff confirmed lighting will be improved and that the work includes interior and exterior coating and painting.
A motion to approve Amendment No.1 passed by voice vote. Staff said the amendment covers inspection and specification-verification work to ensure the larger rehabilitation stands up over time and that bid packages are accurate before construction begins.
