South Shore approves demolition permit for R. Johnson; schedules Feb. 19 special meeting

The Town Board approved a building permit for R. Johnson at 15676 464th Ave W to demolish an existing shed. Jamie Dolen moved and S. Johanson seconded the motion to approve; the minutes record approval and note that a final decision on a replacement shed will be addressed at a special meeting.
The board scheduled a special meeting for Feb. 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the South Shore Community Center. The Feb. 19 agenda will include (a) the second reading of Proposed Ordinance 180-2026 (municipal sales and use tax increase), (b) a proposed resolution to permit hiring town board members as temporary employees as allowed by statute, and (c) the R. Johnson building-permit follow-up regarding the replacement shed. The Feb. 19 meeting was called to allow timely resolution of those agenda items before the March regular meeting.
