Commission accepts $224,188 increase to Children’s Justice Center State contract

Commissioner Jeff Chugg explained the amendment, noting the funding increase from $727,887.56 to $952,075.56 and revisions to the scope of work and agency standard terms and conditions. The changes were highlighted in the contract packet. Commissioner Tracy Killian moved to accept the amended contract and Commissioner Chugg seconded; the motion passed with Commissioners Killian, Chugg and Chairman Greg Miles voting aye.
The amendment will expand the center’s available funding for the stated scope; the contract language and updated attachments in the packet will govern implementation and reporting as required by the State of Utah and county contract administration.
