The Falmouth Select Board voted to approve an application by Peter and Mary McManus to construct a fixed pier, ramp and float extending 92 feet seaward of mean high water into Perch Pond at 113 T Ticket Path. Michael Borselli of Falmouth Engineering presented plans showing a timber pier supported by pilings with a 3 by 16 foot ramp and a 10 by 10 float; he said the conservation commission issued an order of conditions and the harbormaster had no navigation objections.
Borselli explained the pier occupies about 20% of the water body's width (approximately 92 feet of a 440‑foot water body) and described the certificate of compliance process (conservation commission inspection after work completion). Board members asked about navigation constraints and the potential need to dredge the entrance; Borselli noted dredging could improve water flow and shellfish resources but would be a separate, costly undertaking. The hearing closed without public opposition and the board approved the application.
