Phase IV sewer work nears completion; Route 20 corridor bids set

Town engineering staff told the council that Phase IV sewer line work has been completed and the contractor has approximately 45 days remaining to finish concrete and sidewalk work. The engineer said the Sandy's Hardware force main will be added into the contract instead of as an additive alternate.
Phase V sewer work is currently on hold. For the Route 20 corridor project the engineer reported a prebid meeting was held Sept. 18, 2024 and the bid opening is scheduled for Oct. 9, 2024 at 12 p.m. at the Thrasher office. No budget figures or bid amounts were disclosed in the minutes.
